For those who have switched to using 21700 Li-Ion rechargeable batteries but still have devices that take those C cell alkalines, this adapter might be something you’d be interested in. This auction is for a 3D printed adapter which allows a single 21700 Lithium Ion battery to take the place of 2x C-Cell alkaline batteries. Disclaimer: 21700 batteries are designed for ~4.2 volts at full charge while 2x C cells put out 3.0 volts in series. Some devices can handle the voltage discrepancy (like your typical flashlight) with no harm, but other devices might be more sensitive. Be sure to consider this before ordering. This auction is for the 3D printed adapter and does not include the 21700 or C-cell batteries shown in the pictures for reference. Also, when your 21700 battery requires charging, it must be removed from the adapter. As this is a 3D printed part, there may be some slight blemishes due to the printing process. This in no way weakens or affects the functionality of the adapter. The positive contact is the head of a screw which extends into the adapter body and contacts the Positive terminal of the 21700 battery. The negative contact is the actual battery protruding ~0.5″ from the back of the adapter. This protrusion allows easy access to the battery when it needs to be removed from the adapter. This listing is for a custom battery caddy for Streamlight Survivor-X flashlights. It replaces the OEM version and allows for use of (2) 18650 cells configured in parallel to DOUBLE run time. Voltage is the same at 4.2V. This caddy also allows for use of both flat-top 18650 cells which are 65mm long and the longer cells which have the built in charger. In contrast, the OEM caddy can not use flat top cells due to this difference. This custom caddy design uses the same geometry feature as the OEM to protect against accidentally installation in the wrong direction. Disclaimers: This caddy is only for the Survivor-X flashlight.
